Loovy Inc. operates Loovy.ca, a free online classified advertising platform that connects homeowners with independent tradespeople across Canada. Our commitments are as follows.
- Free today. Loovy.ca does not currently charge any signup fee, subscription, commission, per-lead fee or any other fee. Creating a profile, submitting a listing, having your documents reviewed, contacting clients and being contacted are all free. If we introduce paid plans for tradespeople in the future, we will announce them at least [15] days in advance, keep the platform free for homeowners, never charge you unless you take an explicit action to subscribe, and update our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy before any payment information is collected.
- No payments flow through Loovy.ca between homeowners and tradespeople. Clients pay the tradesperson directly. Loovy Inc. does not handle these payments and does not collect any commission on them.
- What we don’t do.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not send your contact information to multiple tradespeople competing for the same request.
- We do not subscribe you to a paid service without your explicit action.
- How we handle verification. Tradespeople submit a government-issued ID and a trade licence so our team can review them before a profile is published. The review is limited to the documents themselves, and a “Verified” badge is not a guarantee of any work. The documents are never made public, and we delete them 30 days after we reach a decision, keeping only the result. See our Privacy Policy for details.
- Your commitments. Everyone using Loovy.ca commits to providing accurate information about their identity, trade and city. Tradespeople commit to holding the licences and insurance required by law in their province. Homeowners commit to describing their project honestly.
