1. Introduction & Who We Are

Loovy.ca (the “Platform”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is operated by Loovy Inc., 1000 Rue De La Gauchetière Ouest, Montréal, QC H3B 4W5, Canada, support@loovy.ca.

Loovy.ca is an online classified advertising platform. It allows homeowners and individuals (“Users”) to browse and respond to advertisements posted by independent trade professionals and service providers (“Advertisers”), such as plumbers, electricians, painters and general contractors across Canada. Browsing the Platform, creating a profile and posting a listing are currently free. We may introduce paid subscriptions for Advertisers in the future. If we do, we will update this Policy and notify registered users before we collect any payment-related information.

Before an Advertiser’s profile and listing are published, the Loovy team reviews the identity document and trade licence the Advertiser submits. This review only checks that the documents appear valid and match the information provided. It is not a guarantee of the quality, safety or legality of any work performed by an Advertiser.

Important — what Loovy.ca is and is not: Loovy.ca operates as a classified ads board. We are not a contractor agency, an employer, or a party to any service contract between Users and Advertisers. We do not employ, contract or manage any trade professional listed on the Platform. We do not process payments between Users and Advertisers. Loovy.ca does not currently process any payments. All contact, negotiation and transactions take place directly between Users and Advertisers.
