Loovy.ca is a classified advertising platform. When a trade professional (“Pro”, “Advertiser”, or “Vendor”) purchases a plan on Loovy.ca, they are paying exclusively for the right to have their professional profile and listings publicly displayed on the Platform for the duration of their subscription.
Your payment covers ONLY:
- ✅ Visibility of your professional profile on Loovy.ca
- ✅ Ability to post and manage service listings/ads
- ✅ Appearance in search results on the Platform
- ✅ Access to the Pro dashboard and profile tools
Your payment does NOT cover or guarantee:
- ❌ Any specific number of leads, calls, or inquiries
- ❌ Any jobs, contracts, or revenue
- ❌ Priority ranking or featured placement (unless specified in your plan)
- ❌ Any service, work, or outcome between you and a homeowner
- ❌ Verification, certification, or endorsement by Loovy.ca
💡 Loovy.ca is an advertising board — like placing an ad in a newspaper or on a bulletin board. We display your ad. We do not guarantee results.
2. WHO THIS POLICY APPLIES TO
This Payment & Refund Policy applies exclusively to trade professionals, service providers, and vendors (“Pros”) who purchase a paid subscription plan on Loovy.ca to display their professional profile.
This Policy does NOT apply to homeowners or individual users browsing the Platform, as browsing and contacting Pros is completely free for homeowners.
3. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS & PRICING
Loovy.ca offers the following paid plans for Pros:
3.1 Available Plans

📌 Current pricing is displayed at the time of checkout on Loovy.ca. Loovy.ca reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time with 30 days advance notice to active subscribers.
3.2 What “Profile Appearing” Means
Your profile will be publicly visible to all visitors on Loovy.ca as long as your subscription is active and your account is in good standing. If your subscription expires or is cancelled, your profile and listings will be automatically hidden from public view until renewed.
4. BILLING & PAYMENT
4.1 Payment Methods Accepted
Loovy.ca accepts the following payment methods:
- 💳 Visa, Mastercard, American Express
- 💳 Debit card (Visa Debit / Mastercard Debit)
- 🏦 PayPal
- 🍎 Apple Pay / Google Pay (where available)
4.2 Billing Cycle
- Monthly plans — Billed every 30 days from the date of initial purchase
4.3 Automatic Renewal
All subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
⚠️ You will receive an email reminder 7 days before your subscription renews. It is your responsibility to cancel before renewal if you do not wish to continue.
4.4 Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- We will retry the payment after 3 days
- If the retry fails, your profile will be automatically hidden from public view
- You will receive an email notification to update your payment method
- Your profile will be restored immediately upon successful payment
4.5 Taxes
Applicable Canadian taxes (GST/HST/QST) will be added to all transactions based on your province of residence:

5. REFUND POLICY
5.1 General Rule — Advertising Fee
⚠️ Subscription fees paid to Loovy.ca are for advertising space — similar to a newspaper ad or billboard rental. Once your profile is live and visible on the Platform, the advertising service has been delivered.
5.2 Refund Eligibility

| Loovy.ca platform is down for more than 72 consecutive hours | ✅ Pro-rated refund |
| Your account is suspended due to violation of Terms | ❌ No refund |
| Duplicate charge (billing error by Loovy.ca) | ✅ Full refund immediately |
| Did not receive enough leads or jobs | ❌ No refund (advertising fee, not results) |
5.3 No Refund for Results
Loovy.ca does not guarantee any business outcome. The number of inquiries, leads, calls, or jobs received depends entirely on market demand, competition, and your profile quality. Dissatisfaction with the number of leads or contacts received is not grounds for a refund.
5.4 How to Request a Refund
To request an eligible refund:
1. Email support@loovy.ca with:
- Subject line:
REFUND REQUEST — [Your Name] — [Account Email] - Your registered email address
- Date of purchase
- Reason for refund request
2. We will review your request within 5 business days
3. If approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days
6. CANCELLATION POLICY
6.1 How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- Option 1: Log in → Dashboard → Subscription → Cancel Plan
- Option 2: Email support@loovy.ca with subject:

6.2 What Happens After Cancellation

💡 You will receive a cancellation confirmation email within 24 hours. If you do not receive it, contact support@loovy.ca immediately.
7. PROFILE SUSPENSION & TERMINATION BY LOOVY.CA
Loovy.ca reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Pro’s profile and subscription without refund if:
- ❌ False, misleading, or fraudulent information is posted in the profile or listings
- ❌ Spam, harassment, or abusive behavior toward homeowners or staff
- ❌ Violation of Loovy.ca’s Terms and Conditions
- ❌ Impersonation of another professional or business
- ❌ Any activity that violates Canadian law
In cases of suspension due to violation, no refund will be issued for the remaining subscription period.
8. DISPUTES & CHARGEBACKS
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us at support@loovy.ca before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card provider. We are committed to resolving billing issues promptly and fairly.
Initiating an unjustified chargeback may result in:
- Immediate suspension of your account
- Referral to a collections agency for fraudulent chargebacks
- Permanent ban from the Platform
9. COMPLIANCE WITH QUEBEC CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT
As Loovy.ca is operated from Montréal, Québec, online subscription contracts are subject to the Quebec Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and its provisions regarding distance contracts (contracts concluded online). In accordance with the CPA:
- You have the right to receive a clear summary of what you are purchasing before payment
- You have the right to a copy of your contract (subscription confirmation email)
- Automatic renewal terms are clearly disclosed before purchase
- You may cancel your subscription at any time as described in Section 6
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
Loovy.ca reserves the right to modify this Payment & Refund Policy at any time. Active subscribers will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance of any material changes. Continued use of the Platform after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
